3 Career Lessons from Hogwarts

Happy New Year!! I don’t know how many of you started the first day of 2022 with a Harry Potter marathon like us, but it was fun to stay in our PJs and binge-watch all day.
It was the 20th anniversary reunion, and my husband and I weren’t the right age to appreciate it then, but our three children discovered it in early 2020, and now we are all obsessed.
So much so that we surprised them with a trip to Hogwarts, aka Universal Florida, the day before Winter Break. It was our first trip since fall 2019, so we wanted it to be extra special.
As you can imagine, I did a lot of research, made reservations, and pre-orchestrated as much as possible. Still, it was my vacay too, so after all the prep, I relaxed and focused on being fully immersed in their joy. I wanted to see it through their eyes and share as many special moments as possible, all the while savoring the quality time with my favorite people during the holidays.
This brings me to the first lesson.
