3 Types of Energy and How to Leverage the Right One to Achieve Your Biggest Goals
If the pandemic has taught us anything, it’s that how we feel about what’s happening around us affects everything. Still, even if you’ve effectively managed your energetic and emotional response for two years or more, even if you’re living your best pandemic life, there’s a limit, isn’t there?
Stress compounds. Uncertainty compounds. Disruptions compounds. When you feel maxed out or defeated, it’s easy to default to survival mode or short-term thinking.
But what if you don’t want to lose sight of your long-term goals?
What if you had momentum on your side and don’t want to regress?
Or what if you don’t want this time to pass by with nothing to show for it?
One thing you can do is protect and preserve your energy by limiting energy sucks — whether that’s people, places, situations, or beliefs. Just opt out: you have enough on your plate.
Another thing you can do is optimize your energy by taking care of yourself, eliminating smoking, getting enough rest, limiting alcohol and caffeine, going outdoors often, and working out consistently.
