5 Definitive Signs You’re NOT Presently Living Your Best Life & How to Get Back on Track
1. Your job is killing you.
Maybe your health or your marriage or both are suffering because you aren’t present or don’t have anything left to give outside of work. Perhaps you don’t spend time with your kids or are only at home when the sun’s not out, or you can’t even explain who you are or what you want without using the context of what you do or how busy you are.
What can you do instead? Consider other possibilities for your life, not just other jobs. Other options for how to live, how to have enough, how to spend your time, how to make money. Try not to be linear or think in absolutes (will this substitute for that?) and look at the big picture. You have one lifetime; how do you want to live it?
2. You’re easily triggered and have something to prove.
Angry, bitter, disappointed, frustrated, stuck, scared, sad, anxious, or envious — low-vibe emotions steal your energy and prevent you from fully stepping into who you are. They keep you from living authentically because you’re comparing, blaming, or judging, instead of doing. They keep you from achieving because your focus is scattered, you’re confidence wanes, and your doubt grows and grows.
