Get Clear and Choose Better.
It’s been 17 days since we finally got to tear off the last page of the 2020 calendar, and it felt so good.
We are starting with a clean slate, in our minds anyway, with renewed hope for a brighter future. But life moves fast, even in a pandemic, and with behavioral fatigue and an undercurrent of divisiveness as think as molasses, it’s the year for a simple, uplifting plan. This one has just two steps (and a clever play with numbers).
1. Get Clear on What You Want.
Spend five minutes (max) visualizing yourself on December 31, 2021. You are happy, really delighted. Feel the emotions inspired by reflecting on and celebrating a great year.
Maybe you’re the good kind of tired from giving it your all. Perhaps you want the moment of deep contentment to last forever or to bottle up all of your confidence, success, and abundance.
Tap into how it feels to get everything you want, and then use that energy of achievement and appreciation to make a list of the twenty — twenty-one things you most want this year.
