Five Steps to Take Now if You are Gearing Up for a Major Career Change

Who isn’t?

So the last two weeks were some tough love. We talked about work/life denial, running out of time, and the monotony of life.

Uplifting stuff, right? I’m a rip-the-bandaid-off-and-address-the-elephant-in-the-room kind of coach.

First, we examine the problem from all angles. What are we missing? What can we observe? What do we know? What do we need to know?

I’m also a you-don’t-need-to-fix-everything kind of coach. Sometimes, a reframe is enough.

Second, we shift your perspective. Start thinking differently. See opportunities where you once saw only obstacles.

As I said in Week One of this series, the goal is not to make you a better employee, but to help you get out of your comfort zone and into your contentment zone, so you are psyched about your options and find meaning in your work.

According to HBR, research shows that more than 9 out of 10 employees are willing to trade a percentage of their lifetime earnings for greater meaning at work.

It’s one of my three keys to being good at life; you can grab that training next week. DM me if you want it now.
