What Exactly Is 50-for-50, And Can It Work For You?
Welcome back to my 50 for 50 journey — a deliberate exploration of intentional living and meaningful moments as I approach the milestone of turning 50.
In case you missed my initial post outlining the challenge, I’m committed to experiencing a mix of activities at least 50 times or engaging in one-time endeavors that yield 50x benefits.
This week marks the second installment of how it’s going, and I’m thrilled to share my Week Two Status Report with you. I’m still working out the best format, but for now, I’ll link to the previous week’s report (Week One Status Report) and pick up where I left off with little explanation. If and when I hit a goal, I’ll recap the steps from A to Z, or 1 to 50, as the case may be.
By the way, I’m very interested in how to make this more actionable and inspiring for you. So, if you have ideas, please let me know!
One Degree Off-Course
Experts in air navigation have a rule of thumb known as the 1-in-60 rule. It states that for every 1 degree a plane veers off its course, it misses its target destination by 1 mile for every 60 miles you fly. So, the further you travel, the further you are from your destination.
