One of my favorite future-casting strategies is scattering seeds.

Scattering seeds is setting a few different things into motion that may eventually payoff but not getting too attached to a particular result or timing.
Think about when you had a lot on the line, and it didn’t pan out. The pressure was intense when you had just one breakthrough project, one ultra-valuable client, or one irresistible chance — it had to work — a heroic Hail Mary with everything at stake.
That makes for a great movie, but in real life, the ideal scenario is an abundance of great options. You’ll feel more free, confident, and optimistic when you trust that good things usually come your way.
