🌍 Setting the Scene: Where We Went — and Why It Mattered
We just returned from a 23-day trip across Europe: 20 stops, three kids, and one big reset.
We explored the delicious markets of Palermo and Bari, the historic ruins of Ephesus, the picturesque canals of Venice, the dramatic walls of Dubrovnik, the vibrant energy of Barcelona, the stunning beaches and art of Costa Brava, the majestic mountains of the Bay of Kotor, the ancient treasures of Athens, and the charming boutiques and cafés of Mykonos, Chania, Zadar, and Corfu.
It was our third epic European adventure in four years — and honestly, sometimes I have to pinch myself that this is our life.
We revisited places from our honeymoon and mixed in new stops — only this time, with our kids in tow and a lot more life behind us. The trip was a blend of nostalgia and discovery, spontaneity and intention, joy and reflection.
I suspected I needed a reset. I didn’t realize how much.
This wasn’t just a vacation. It was a perspective shift — the kind that lingers.
